COLD FRONT TECHNOLOGY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Revolutionize snowplow and spreader integration with this advanced, streamlined electrical system, delivering next-level performance and simplicity. Goodbye, 13-pin plug—hello single connector! Cold Front Technology upgrades our already streamlined flip, plug, and click system, replacing the 13-pin plug with a new single connector that combines power/ground cables and control wires for a seamless, hassle-free connection. It also integrates smoothly with a common truck harness, allowing you to control both your plow and spreader with immediate, smooth functionality.
SL4 LED HEADLIGHTS WITH CLEARBEAM
If you thought the SL3s couldn’t get any better, meet the SL4 with ClearBeam—sharper, stronger, and the brightest plow headlights on the market. Built for total visibility in the toughest conditions, the SL4 is standard on all BOSS Cold Front Technology plows. These new headlights feature built-in turn signals, parking, warning, and accent lights—all in one sleek package. Offering superior safety and visibility, they ensure you’re seen from every angle.
The SL4 also features ClearBeam downward illumination for over 200 degrees of vision, expanding your view beyond the front. Optimized lighting enhances your perspective, while a sealed, temperature-regulated system and heater grid keep the ice shield technology we all love from the SL3s. With a refreshed light bar, Total Internal Reflection technology, and low-profile aluminum housing, the SL4 is ready to take on the harshest conditions.
SMARTTOUCH+ UNIVERSAL CONTROLLER
Along with the new electrical system and headlights, we’ve upgraded the controller you know and love, making it even better. SmartTouch+ puts instant control at your fingertips. With a modern, intuitive design, it’s built for speed and simplicity, giving you seamless command of Cold Front Technology.
SmartTouch+ allows you to seamlessly program and operate all BOSS Cold Front Technology V, straight blade, and D-Force plows. It pairs the familiar, trusted controller design with Cold Front Technology for instant, precise response. Plus, it comes equipped with two AUX buttons that let you customize and program the controller to seamlessly control your SL4 headlights, ClearBeam, warning lights, and VBX+.
ALL NEW PLOWING EXPERIENCE- BOSS TEV
Meet the BOSS TEV—our first fully-featured Trip-Edge V-Plow. Built for relentless performance, the TEV is forged in steel, storm-tested, and made to last. Because a true legacy isn’t given; it’s earned.
The TEV comes standard with all of our newest innovations, making your plowing experience better than ever. The Trip-Edge V features an industry-favorite design with two torsion springs for optimal performance and durability. It also includes a built-in snow catcher to improve snow containment and eliminate snow lines when restoring order. An adjustable link sets the coupler height, adapting the plow to various push beam heights while ensuring the cutting edges stay level to the pavement. The TEV comes standard with SL4 LED headlights, the SmartTouch+ universal controller, and Cold Front Technology, setting the bar for the future of snow and ice control.
