FINE DEICING MATERIALS (Bagged Deicers) 1-4
Deicers with tiny granules in smaller bags or 5-gallon pails
COARSE MATERIALS (Bulk Salt) 5-7
Deicers with larger granules can be purchased in large quantities. If you manage several snow and ice accounts that require deicing, you will most likely need a higher capacity spreader and may also need to purchase deicers in bulk.
When using sand as a deicing material, make sure your spreader is designed to handle this material type.
